Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students this year are enthusiastic about learning and literacy. We would love a new classroom library with books to help us get our read on. Our classroom theme this year is Brillant Butterflies where we will "Get Our Wings" through reading and literacy.
My Project
These books will be used to upgrade a what is now old classroom library. These books will bring more excitement into our classroom make reading enjoyable and fun instead of a task. Currently we have a classroom library with books that date back to 2002. We would love more modern and relatable books in our classroom. Reading for so long has been a task, but this year we want to make it fun, enjoyable, and habit forming for every student. Who wants to read a boring book? Surely not the Brilliant Butterflies in my classroom.
