This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are my life! They have been through so much in the last 2 years of their little lives. Most have been engaging in remote learning during Pre-k and will be embarking on a brand new school adventure for Kindergarten!
Curious, enthusiastic, warm, supportive, friendly, creative, and loving are the best words I can use to describe my students.
No two days are ever the same with my little ones! They are always eager to learn something new and I am always eager to watch them grow and succeed.
My Project
I don't know about you, but reading transports me to places beyond my imagination! A good book and a comfy spot can take a frown and turn it upside down any day!
I always tell my students, that reading is our passport around the universe!
I believe reading should always be used as a reward or something positive to look forward to! NEVER to be used as a punishment.
These materials will be used to create a reading area for my students. A place where they will have age-appropriate books in a wide array of topics as well as comfy seating where they can nestle into. This project will give my students the opportunity to travel around our universe through books!
