Help me give my students a complete curriculum. My classroom has the EdMark base kit and need the Comprehension and Homework additions to complete the curriculum set.
I teach at a public elementary school, in a 3rd-5th grade, intellectual disabilities, special education classroom. I am a second year teacher in a new special education program at the school. My students are enthusiastic about learning and have an endless list of abilities and goals! Each student is unique, and I choose to celebrate their individuality! Every student has the ability to reach their goals, and it is my goal to find the pathway for each student! I can’t change the world, but I can change my students’ world!
My Project
I teach a mild/moderate special education class for grades 3-5. My students range in reading levels from Kindergarten to Third Grade. Having a complete set would help my students access a reading curriculum that will help them grow. The basic kit that we have includes the assessments and basic reading program.
Having the complete curriculum will allow my students to grow.
We have requested the homework kit to have additional worksheets and activities to solidify their new knowledge. The comprehension kit will help my students develop comprehension skills that will expand their reading and language knowledge. We are missing essential pieces to our curriculum.
