These children are growing up in a fast-paced world and I want them to be prepared to keep up with these demands and acquire 21st century learning skills.
My Project
Decodable books provide students an opportunity to put the phonic skills we are learning in class to use. These books allow students to use and develop correct print to sound pathways. Students can practice their decoding skills in incremental levels as we introduce new letters and sounds with this exciting series of books.
Authentic, decodable books provide successful and motivating first reading experiences for students who are not yet fluent readers.
This series is full of beautiful illustrations and meaningful, engaging stories. The scope and sequence is expertly developed and research-based. My hope is that through this series my students will become accurate, fluent, comprehensive, and joyful readers.
