My Project
My goal for the project is to build confident readers. To build solid readers, they need the foundational building blocks: phonics. Decodables help with learning acceleration by meeting students where they are, focusing on the one phonetic skill they are working on, and moving them onto the next skill as they gain momentum. These decodables will help to reach students where they are phonetically. The pictures and photographs are diverse and inclusive, allowing for student enrichment. By having 4 sets of each copy, I will be able to meet with students in small groups to allow for more direct instruction of these skills.
