Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Getting my student-athletes these jerseys will help them get warm and ready before the game in colder weather. It is important to ensure that they are comfortable and performance-ready. They will also be presentable during the matches.
The Girls Soccer Program is not only focused on achieving the maximum potential of the athlete in the field, but also as a student and overall, a person.
The program emphasizes the vitality of technique, tactics, and physical wellbeing, as well as a good mental and emotional state. A step to achieve this goal is by being presentable through having matching warm-up jerseys as a team, leading to the girls feeling a connection and sense of belonging in the program. We have not been able to have matching jerseys due to girls not being able to afford them.
