Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have built a family-type culture among the staff and will build a family type culture within our classrooms as well, providing a warm, inviting, and safe place for our students every day.

Our students will be required to have all of their own materials and supplies this year.

We will not be allowed to share. Because of the nature of my district, many of our families are unable to purchase all that their child needs for the school year. I want all of my students to be able to participate in class on the first day so that they can feel a sense of belonging.

All of the other materials will be kept in each child's individual desk to be used only by that child, in alignment with the requirement of each student having their own supplies and materials this year.
