Help me give my students basic everyday supplies to keep them organized and actively engaged. We need laminating pouches, clipboards, binders and staplers.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a Title I school in Staten Island, NY. This year I have an ICT class. Which means half of my class has IEPs. In addition many of my students are also English Language Learners. My students are hard workers who truly push themselves to do their very best. However, often they don't have all the supplies and materials they need to succeed in school. Due to budget cuts, my school is not always able to provide classrooms with extras, but I want my students to have it all.
My Project
My 5th grade math students need binders, clipboards, staplers and laminating sheets. This will allow me to organize materials so I can help students to use resources from lessons over again throughout the year. The sheet protector will help to organize the notes from the lessons and serve as a study sheet to meet the individual needs of students. The clipboards will allow students the ability to utilize flexible seating options in the classroom. The staplers and binders will be used to organize student resources.
I am a math teacher in a low income, high poverty school where my students are faced with challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
I am looking for basic supplies to keep my classroom engaging and provide meaningful learning experiences for my students.
