My students are ready for the limelight!! Please help us achieve our goal!
My students go to a public Montessori in Chicago, IL.
They range from 3 to 6 year olds and most of them receive free and reduced lunch. These little ones are constantly moving and exploring their classroom. They enjoy circle time music, singing and dancing. They also have a great love for learning and reading.
My Project
Our current CD player always skips and stops playing music. When we all dance together and say, jump and march all at the same time, the player will just stop. The children lose momentum and interest after several times that I have to restart and play the song again.
Another activity that they enjoy is acting out stories that we read like, "Caps for Sale" and "The Gingerbread Boy." The children also act out original stories that they wrote during writer's workshop. I hope that with your help and support, my students will be able to watch and enjoy their performances recorded in the Flip camcorder. It will also be easy for us to share these performances with the school and their families.
