My Project

B.E.S Garden Club members are almost ready and set to grow! They are young, enthusiastic growers who currently are not equipped with the adequate materials and tools needed to monetize their talents or help them grow their garden into a beautiful masterpiece they can be proud of.

The requested garden materials will be utilized to aid in our ongoing process of garden restoration & rehabilitation, soil regeneration, and garden maintenance through a hands-on integrated experience that promotes and encourages healthy, lifelong nutritious eating habits--while enriching knowledge on environmental and self-sustainability, permaculture growing methods and application.

Our goal is to ensure students have a garden-based learning experience in a fully equipped outdoor, living classroom. The seed starter mix, trays, nursery pots, heating pads, and grow lights will be used to grow plants from seed for the garden. They will also be used to grow plants for our plant sales in order to raise money for our garden club. The watering tools and shelving units will be used for plant propagation and maintenance. Each item is essential and will make all the difference in not only the success of the school garden but also in whether or not we are successful in fostering, cultivating, growing and holding their interest in gardening. It is absolutely special to have so many young, enthusiastic gardeners and it would be great if anyone who is able would sow and grow their interest more by supporting this project!
