My Project

I am a first-grade teacher who is already thinking ahead to the next school year. I want to make sure that my incoming students feel welcomed and excited about starting the new school year. To help with this, I am creating a project that will include items to welcome my new first graders.

The project will include copies of the book "The Night Before First Grade" by Natasha Wing.

This book is a wonderful way to help my students get excited about starting first grade. The story follows a group of students as they prepare for their first day of school, and it's a great way to ease any worries or fears that my students may have.

In addition to the book, I would also like to include some fun treats like Pop Rocks and Pixie Sticks. These treats will help create a fun and exciting atmosphere for my students as they get to know each other and explore their new classroom.

Finally, I would like to include Jitter Glitter in this project. Jitter Glitter is a fun and creative way to help students get rid of any fears they may have about the upcoming school year. It's a glittery powder that students sprinkle on themselves before bed, and it helps them sleep peacefully and confidently, knowing that they will have a great day at school the next day.

I know that this school year is not over, but it's always fun to think about my new class and how I can make their first day of school special. Your donation to this project will help me create a warm and welcoming environment for my incoming first graders.
