This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our class is one of the best on campus!
Our students are dedicated, hard-working young adults who strive to do their best in class on a daily basis!
Most students at our school come from a low socio-economic background, which makes it difficult for some of them to have what is needed in class. About 90% of our students are on reduced lunch at school. This doesn't stop our students from giving their best in class. They are able to look passed their disadvantages and continue to be hard-workers!
My Project
These headsets will be valuable to our low-income, Title I classroom. Students often get excited to record themselves on FlipGrid or other in-class app's that are used. The only problem they face with recording themselves is that they are not able to listen to their voices because of the noise in the background. These headsets will definitely help students have better quality videos in which their voices can be heard! These headsets will make a difference in students' learning because it will definitely get them excited to want to record themselves explaining an addition or subtraction problem, reading a summary of the book they just read, and telling their teacher what they did over the weekend. Overall, these headsets will motivate my students because recording themselves with a mic will be a "fun" activity to do!
