My Students
This school year brings many challenges and uncertainty for our first grade e-learning students. Our families have chosen to enroll in our e-learning program which means they will learn virtually for the first half of the year.
We know that children are the most resilient and will take on this new adventure with persistence, patience, and grace.
First grade is a big year for my beginning readers. We want to provide them the same experiences and opportunities as the students in the traditional brick and mortar classrooms.
My Project
Learning virtually is a new experience for students in first grade. These families have chosen to learn virtually this year, and understand the many challenges and gains. Our hope is to provide them with a way to build their reading experiences while learning from home by providing leveled reading books.
Reading A to Z (RAZKIDS) is a wonderful resource full of leveled reading books and many resources for students to practice reading at home.
In addition, this will allow these students to participate in reading groups at home using a leveled book. This resource is full of many titles across many genres and levels to appeal to each young reader. Our wish is that this resource will help build strong readers and create their love for reading at an early age!
