My Project
I have the privilege of working with first, second, and third grade students as a reading intervention instructor outside of the regular classroom setting. My classroom is a new area with limited space and a horseshoe table will enable me to better accommodate each small group throughout the day.
During students daily time with me, they will be receiving explicit, differentiated instruction that covers phonological awareness and phonics skills that build the confidence needed for students to become "Today's readers that make tomorrow's leaders"!
My students feel challenged with their reading skills and my goal is to provide them with meaningful Language Arts instruction that that will engage students in learning these required strategies while engaging in cultural topics like "Lunar New Year".
