Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of my students' favorite times of the day is our read-aloud. They find a comfy spot, to listen to their teacher or peer read a book, explore new titles, and learn lessons from them too!
Students love to independently read these picture books, and I'd love to provide more titles for them to explore.
I really encourage my kids to read through our shelf of "coming soon" read-alouds to pick a book we should read next. I would like for them to have more options to explore and more lessons to learn. These books are all titles we have not yet read or lessons that are beneficial to learn for their age.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
