Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project asks for afterschool snacks that I can offer my students when they attend tutoring. Students are hungry after school, and that can make it difficult for them to concentrate and focus when they are learning.
Many of my low-income students do not have snacks at home, and they need nourishment to learn!
As we prepare for the end of the school year I offer a lot of tutoring, and students are happy to attend. However, many of them really need a snack to keep them happy and focused.
