This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! I work in a school where 93% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. A typical day in my classroom is filled with excitement about learning and exploring.

My students are always striving to achieve even when they face hardships outside of school.

Their love for learning is what will help them to become successful men and women of the future! I am excited to help them get on their way.

My Project

Hi! I am a second grade teacher! Our school is a neighborhood school that services about 800 students. The students who go to our school are full of life and eager to learn! These supplies will help us start our year off the right way!! The Expo markers will be used with the white boards I have previously received through DonorsChoose. The pencils and notebooks will make sure that every student has what they need to learn. The stickers and index cards will be used to keep learning fun and positive! Thank you.
