This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a melting pot of happiness! My class consists of 17 (in the morning) and 17 (in the afternoon) of the most loving, most hard working little people one can ever meet. Their attitude and desire to learn makes any teacher's job worthwhile.
These students are a family, with each one willing to help the other.
Seeing their positivism makes me strive to become a better teacher each day. Our school has been designated a STEM (STEAM) school and my goal is to do my part to live up to that title.
My Project
These books will serve as extra resources to help my students achieve their academic successes, and prepare them for their state standardized tests.
These resources will serve as additional tools to work with my students in small groups, whole group, and as home assignments.
This will help me improve their grammar skills and their writing structure, as these skills will follow them through life.
It is my goal to, not only encourage a love of Reading, but also a love of learning- across subjects. I want to prepare them as best as I can for their academic future, as well as a lifetime of successes.
