Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is designed to help high school students build better reading comprehension and fluency using multiple reading strategies. One strategy is to use Dyad Reading Daily. Students read books together to build their fluency and comprehension. This will allow students to increase their reading levels in just a matter of weeks. With their increase in reading levels, they will be able to better understand grade-level content in other content areas. I also included a bookshelf to help keep the books organized and stored nicely for students to have easy access.
