Books are so important at this age. The most important part of learning and reading is engaging students in a book or series they will love. The larger the library the more options my students have to read. I never want them to be able to say they have to wait until library day. I want to be able to engage them in the classroom.
I will allow students to check out books from our class library and read together as partners.
I will also let my students to sit with their reading buddies while they read.
