My Students
Did you love kindergarten? My students do! I teach kindergarten to a highly motivated, fun, and diverse group of students at a Title I school with 67% free and reduced breakfast and lunch.
I provide my students with a safe and nurturing environment where they feel comfortable taking risks and trying on new things.
Unfortunately, the school and I are unable to provide all the materials that are needed in order for them to reach their full potential. Additional books for guided reading and independent reading are items that we are currently unable to provide, but would benefit my students greatly.
My Project
In kindergarten, I teach my students to read. In order to do this, I need guided reading and independent reading books at their reading level. The King Series Library would be perfect collection of books to use while teaching my students to read and to instill a love of reading in them!
