My Project
This project will help my classroom to engage in literature. My students are amazing, and have a desire to learn. In my 4th grade class there are a variety of needs. These books will not only help give the class new materials for a new class read, but entice them to read. Often times the books we have available are older worn out books. This would be an opportunity for my students to have access to a new book, written in their generation, that is fun and engaging.
Every students deserves the chance to read a new book that was chosen for them. The smaller sets of novels will also allow me to establish smaller novel study groups within the classroom to meet the needs of every student at their own level. They will allow me the opportunity to extend the learning of every student in class.
The Teachers Pay Teacher resource will give me access to engaging and creative resources to align the novels with the curriculum.
