This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I believe that creating this special reading space in my classroom will foster a love of reading for my students. My classroom consists of a diverse community of cultures in addition to a diverse community of learning styles. I have many students who are still learning their letters and sounds. Therefore, I want to promote a calming and relaxing space for the children to grow their reading skills where they can feel comfortable and motivated and continue to gain the confidence they need to develop a love of reading this school year.
