Reading Voice and Choice In The School Library

Help me give my students choices in the library with genre colored dots, book tape, and label covers so they can find books to read!

My Project

Our students are in grades 2-4 and are just now learning more about how to make choices and have a voice in books they select to read in our school library.

This projects provides processing materials to help spotlight the genre of books to help students with information seeking.

This project will help me label books with the correct genre color with high quality book tape and label covers that last and are durable. Students will be able to use these colors of genres as one option to self select reading materials from our library.
