Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Literacy-based activities are used daily in my classroom. Using a variety of bulk books allows for each student to follow along for guided practice and allows an easier way for me to record modeled strategies. Reading with themes allows us to dive deeper into reading, understanding characters, setting atmosphere in the classroom for a fun way of learning, and taking notes about the main story elements in a fun way. We are looking for fun new units to add in our classroom. Having a set of themed items will help set the mood for classroom learning.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but allow us to add in fun and engaging reading atmosphere to increase academic success.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and

have a fun way to dive deeper into our reading units as a group!
