Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The reading toolkits will make a difference in my students learning by giving them manipulative's to make further connections in literacy. The eyes will allow the students to keep track of their words while they read. The cubes will allowed the students to punch the sounds as the encode words.
My goal for this project is to encourage reading and get students excited to learn.
I am hoping that the student will be excited to join me during small group time. Students learn best when they are able to make a mind body connection which I believe will happen with these manipulatives. Kindergarten is such an important year when it comes to learning reading and these reading toolkits will help.
