Help me give my students access to novels that offer them views of diversity, Science, Social Studies, and the list for the Battle of the Books challenge.

My Students

My students are smart, creative, kind, and happy. My students are in that unique stage between elementary and middle school. They are trying to figure out what direction their lives are headed in at the same time as finding their own voice in the large and loud world.

My favorite thing about our students is how strongly their compassion and desire to learn shine through every day.

We are a largely middle-class school, and our rigorous curriculum standards demand an unrelenting pace and focus from our students every day. We have high expectations, and, to their credit, our students rise to meet those expectations every day!

My Project

These books in this list will help the students in my class in a variety of ways. Some will allow my students to have access to books about diversity. Other books will help enhance their Science and Social Studies lessons and comprehension.

These books will also provide means of support for various levels of readers.

The last books on the list will also allow my students to participate in the books program's battle. The audiobooks will also give my struggling readers the ability to participate as well. The donation to this project will support my interest in books and help spark a passion for reading. Thank You!
