This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello to all of the Donors Choose donors. Thank you so much for supporting students around the world. Today I am asking for your help to create a library in our 4th grade classroom. My students in my resource class are ESE and are below grade level in reading, so having a library in the classroom would benefit them greatly.

All of these books will be within reach of them at all times, and they will be able to read as much as they want.

I firmly believe that reading is very important for the intellectual development of all of us. As you can see we are also in need of intervention materials, since some of my students are also ESOL.

These books and materials will be used to reinforce teaching and help them move up a level for 5th grade.

Also, a printer with scanner would help us make copies for everyone, since resources are limited when you have a large number of students with the same needs. With the scanner I will be able to make copies for everyone without needing to have an intervention book for each student. I thank you in advance, both for your enormous collaboration and contribution to the education of our children, and for your enormous heart in helping those who need it most.
