My Students
I work with students who have learning disabilities. They are all mainstreamed into college prep classes. I currently work in Chemistry, Biology, and Junior English classes.
My goal is to help everyone to be the best that they can possibly be, and I truly believe that there is no limit on anyone's potential.
I am working closely with general education teachers to close the achievement gap for all students who are not performing to their potential.
My Project
This book is a quick read and has a quality that can reach a variety of students. It provides readers with a positive look into friendships, growth, and our unique differences. This book is an inspirational quick read that I would like to use across all 11th grade classes.
Reading books like this can dramatically transform a student's perspective about themselves, and life in general.
Having such materials can quickly inspire students to take a deep look at their interactions with others, and themselves. I would use it during our unit about Individualism and Conformity.
