My students need more technology in the classroom to practice their reading and language skills. My students can use the educational reading apps on the 2 iPods requested.
Let's bring technology into our public school classrooms for special needs students!
I teach middle school age deaf and hard of hearing children in a self-contained public school classroom.
Vocabulary and language is very difficult for deaf students to acquire due to the fact that they cannot sound out words. They need practice and repetition to learn new words.
My Project
Acquiring iPods for the classroom would enable my students to practice their reading, language, and vocabulary skills using educational applications. Learning on iPods will help the students realize that learning can be fun using technology in the classroom.
Please give my students a chance to learn using technology in school.
Your donations will make such a difference in their lives and educational achievement. I appreciate your kindness.
