My Project
My students all have different exceptionalities that make them very special to me. Reading is a huge challenge for my students. I have a few non-verbal students and students that are just beginning to recognize basic sight words. I chose books that had vivid pictures and would grab their attention with things I knew they like. My students love to look at books and be read too. The students that are able to take Accelerated Reader test, we read the book with them and they take the test. They love this especially if they pass the test and they get their token for passing. These books would add to my classroom library.
