This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken​ community.

Our school consists of a very large English language learner population.

All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for the next level of life.

I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it.

These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.

My Project

I have a variety of amazing students in my classroom. They have very unique desires and motivations. Never did I think, reading games and stickers would be beneficial in our classroom, but they've forever changed it!

With your help, I can meet the needs and goals of all my students!

When my students and I played Among Us during indoor recess, they were hooked! It got me thinking...how can I harness this same excitement on a regular basis? Little did I know my students would be motivated with a variety of stickers and games. Ever since we started using reading games during centers and stickers as rewards for completing work, their desire to work harder and in a timely manner has drastically improved!
