Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help to fund series of text that will engage students in reading to practice fluency skills.

Students will have the opportunity to read interesting text in series with characters and events that will make reading exciting and fun.

Throughout the series, continuous character and plot development will help students stay focused and engaged on decodable text that they will be able to access and they are connecting learning to read with reading to learn.

After reading the first series and having students excited each day to find out what the next chapter will bring, they requested more! When students are engaged in the story, they find joy in reading.
