This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students do daily groups that involve reading, writing, and technology. We do rotations during the day that involve differentiated learning. They sit on the floor with their groups to read. We have a carpet but I truly believe that with this type of flexible seating they will be more engaged with their groups.
Students will have somewhere comfortable to sit down and complete daily activities with their peers.
I will also be able to hold small group instruction with students on the floor. Switching up these daily activities for them will allow them to have something to look forward to everyday! My students will be able to engage more in their learning.
