I have the pleasure of teaching twenty enthusiastic Kindergartners. They love to learn, but they need materials that will keep them interested to create meaningful learning experiences.
I teach in a low socioeconomic school and unfortunately, many of the children that come through my room don't have basic supplies.
Therefore, I provide most of the materials that are needed in my room. Regardless of their background, all of the children are excited about being at school and learning new things.
My Project
I am requesting two Bean Bag Seats and six Little Seats for the students in my classroom. My students need the exciting seats to encourage reading books. Students will love being able to choose a fun and comfortable reading seat while looking at and reading different books.
Students will love sitting on a bean bag while reading a good book individually or with a friend.
The Bean Bag Seats will be used on the small caret for small group reading centers that will take place throughout the day. The Little Seats will be used during independent reading and small group reading times throughout the day.
