My Project
My second-grade class is an inclusion class, full of diverse learners! Each year, my students come to my class eager to learn. We create a class community that is built on mutual trust and respect. My students are little sponges, soaking up the world like sponges and discovering their independence. They love to learn new concepts and perspectives. I have the opportunity to introduce them to their first chapter books to further excite their imaginations and storytelling.

I am requesting sets of Scholastic News and Science Spin. These individual magazines not only provide important background knowledge, but also bring to life what they are learning in reading. The interactive component enhances the learning. And, the students will bring home the magazines to share with their families. The school-home connection is so important, and Scholastic News/Science Spin will provide this opportunity to my students and families.
