Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a new Pre-K classroom, we are wanting to add a nice, new rug for our incoming students. This will be our space for morning meeting every day, for whole group discussions, dance breaks, and for reading time. This helps us connect, share, enjoy company, and listen and learn from one another. Morning meeting time is incredibly important, and the space and comfort makes it even better. My goal is to make this time important and meaningful, and to do so as a whole class at the beginning and end of each school day. I'd love to start and end our time in a happy, calm way. Thank you!
