My Students
My students come from around the world and most speak a language other than English in the home. The students are aged from three to eleven years old and possess a high level of curiosity to learn as much as they can about the city and country in which they now reside.
My students love to read and often spend their lunchtime in the library, engrossed in a book. As the school's first librarian, I am greatly honored to work with such a delightful group of individuals. Their thirst for learning is unrivaled when compared to their peers.
My Project
A good school library is one of the major contributors to academic success. Many of our students do not live near a public library, so our school is the only place in which to acquire reading materials. The new materials will entice even the most reluctant reader to spend time with a book.
These books will enable our school to build a world-class library for our world-class learners.
As a new school, our library is very small. These books would enable our students to increase their literacy skills as well as maintaining their love of learning. Thank you in advance for your help with supplying new books for our library.
