My Project
These books will help my students practice reading fluency independently. Many of my students are reading above grade level and are ready to read firsts readers. These books will be used during center time to help students develop fluency and a love of reading.
We chose characters and books that the students would be able to relate to and will want to read.
Many of my students do not have access to a variety of books at home. This will provide the students with exposure to language and text while developing fluency and comprehension.
