This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of 1st-3rd grade special education students at Discovery Academy. My students work hard and challenge themselves every day and are making great progress! These supplies will give students tools to increase focus (fidgets, sensory play, noise-reducing headphones for autism, compression vest, bouncy bands), will provide them with reading material in subjects of interest specific to each student (maps, world languages, dinosaurs, cats, etc.), and will give students tools and supplies they need to improve their reading. Help them continue to grow in their reading!
