My Project
The AP African American Studies course aims to deepen students' understanding of Black history and culture through critical engagement with texts. Throughout the course students will conduct research, present, and read various texts about African American history.
To enhance this experience, we seek funding to provide each student with a copy of "Stamped" by Jason Reynolds and Ibram Kendi.
This powerful book challenges students to explore the complexities of racism and identity in America. By incorporating "Stamped" into our curriculum, we will foster rigorous discussions and promote relevance in our students' lives, ensuring they are prepared for the AP exam and equipped to navigate and contribute to a diverse society.
