This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are working hard to encourarage and promote reading to students and teachers in our building this year. We will be having a couple of fun reading challenges where everyone can log their minutes on an app called Beanstack. We will have a Book Bingo challenge and a Sequoyah Reader challenge this school year. The Book Bingo will feature a variety of fun genres for students and teachers to complete books in and the Sequoyah Challenge will feature the books on this year's 2025 Sequoyah Masterlist.
We want to get all of our students and teachers involved in reading these fun books.
We are requesting a bunch of fun rewards they can come get from the library as they complete challenges.
