Help me give my students books and an opportunity to learn about Ruby Bridges!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Teddy's classroom raised $503

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my community school are curious, engaged learners. They are eager to learn about the world around them. They are excited about their roles and how they can be involved. This is a collaborative, school-wide opportunity.
The books used in this project will help students learn about American civil rights activist Ruby Bridges.
Students will learn about the sense of perseverance and bravery that Ruby demonstrated in the face of overwhelming adversity.
These books will be shared between students in grades 1-5. Students will enjoy a virtual visit with Ms. Bridges in Spring, 2022.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
