Reading, Reading, Learn!

Help me give my students delve deeply into fantastic literature like "Honey Honey Lion," and "The Bad Seed." These books are ones I'm beginning to enjoy reading with my students!

My Students

Twenty plus eager faces look at me every day excited to learn and share their own knowledge and learning with the class. Reading is the basis for so much learning, and their eyes are excited when I say we're reading a new book.

My students may only be 6 years old, but they have learned the importance of encouraging each other every day as they learn.

My Project

Our school does not have the funds to purchase a reading program due to the fact that we are not Title 1, yet we have many students who would fit into that category.

It is important for students to have access to these quality books that can provide learning for literature and nonfiction.

I have bought a reading program to enhance the standards and help the students delve deeply into all that they need to learn. However, I do not have any of these books in my classroom library. These books are those needed for lessons in August through December (four per month). Hopefully, I can create another project for the rest of the books.
