My Students
I am always trying to find new ways to inspire and engage my students. I believe that if my students don’t have any passion for what we are doing, learning won’t occur.
My students live in the heart of our city.
Students love to try to help their community and be a part of something. Our school thrives on donations to support our students. I thrive by providing a positive learning environment. The extra time I put into my classroom, students, and community really pays off in the end. Students' negative behavior goes down and engagement and fun go up!
My Project
I have chosen books that I have read with my fourth grade classes over the years. I choose some sets of books that we can follow along and read together. I chose some books about mindfulness that I can read to students or students can read when they need to. I have also chosen some beloved books to share and read out loud with the students.
Whatever their need is, I have chosen some books for all students.
With school being online, it has become harder to engage students. Being able to give these books to the students to read along with at home will, for sure, give us all a sense of connection. Good books seem to always have a way of doing that.
