My Project
I teach business and a huge part of my end of year curriculum is teaching my students about financial literacy. They do a small business project where they have to work with finding spaces to lease, creating and pricing inventory, etc. as well as, a personal finance project where they find apartments, "buy" cars, and more!
I wanted to add a reading component to the lesson and think that a physical book is the perfect addition.
The goal with adding this book to my financial literacy lesson is to build reading comprehension and critical thinking, especially in regards to finances. This book fits the bill because, who doesn't want to be a millionaire? I've had this book in my cart for forever and I'm excited to finally share it with my students!
I am very excited to teach money every year and I'm hoping it helps them read their way to becoming millionaires!
