My Project

In my classroom and school community in general there is a high emphasis on promoting reading and literacy amongst our scholars. We all know that the best way to improve literacy and comprehension in students is to first foster a love for reading.

By providing a safe, comfortable, and inviting space for students to be able to read independently we can provide the first step into the world of wonder that reading can take them.

Students should be able to read, at their own pace, things that interest them and a classroom reading nook would provide that opportunity.
