This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have asked for multiple book box sets for my lower-level reading bins to make reading more fun. Having all these different book sets will help my students enjoy reading and allow them to make real-life connections. Also having a variety of Pete the Cat, and Pinkalicious book sets will help expand my classroom library. Right now we have outdated books which the students can not relate. They aren't able to make text-to-text, text to self, or text-to-world connections with the outdated books that we have. Having these book sets will help improve our library.
