This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My third grade students are eager to learn about the STEM world around them. What better way than through literacy!
My students will benefit from reading books that are connected to science, math and technology, while also becoming fluent and independent life, long readers.
These books will also help my students read about topics that are highly interesting and educational at the same time. The books will be available in the classroom library and in the science learning station. Students will enjoy reading their STEM books during their own free reading time or as resources to the ongoing curriculum.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
