Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is filled with bright, curious students from a variety of cultural and language backgrounds. Many of them are English language learners or struggle with reading fluency and comprehension. To better support their growth, we are asking for an iPad along with an Osmo Reading Kit and LeapReader system.
These tools are more than just fun—they are powerful resources for interactive, engaging learning.
The Osmo Reading Kit uses hands-on games and visual storytelling to build phonics and vocabulary skills, especially helpful for students who are learning English or reading at different levels. The LeapReader provides audio support while students follow along with books, helping them build confidence and improve pronunciation.
The iPad will serve as the core device to run the Osmo system, allowing us to bring literacy activities to life in a way that’s visual, tactile, and responsive to each child’s pace.
By supporting this project, you’ll help provide culturally diverse learners with the tools they need to become stronger readers—while celebrating their unique learning journeys.
